One week remains before some of the first deadlines pass for editorial and advertising submissions in the O.R. Daily, the show’s ONLY official publication.

The first deadlines arrive June 19, 2015.

The O.R. Daily, published by SNEWS, strives to represent every company in our five issues distributed at the show, but that requires your help in following the submission guidelines and deadlines below. We typically receive more content than we have room to fit into the publication, so be sure to read and follow all the directions and meet deadlines below to increase your chances of being included.

The O.R. Daily New Product Gallery gives your brand the opportunity to submit new products debuting at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2015. Submit only NEW products — likely those slated to hit retail in spring/summer 2016 — to be considered for free publication.

SNEWS has a web form for exhibitors to submit the products, which we helps simplify the process. You must fill out the form completely by Friday, June 19, 2015 for the submission to go through. Click here to access the New Product Gallery web form.

You are welcome and encouraged to submit multiple products to this section (we use this product database for other parts of the magazine and to help Outdoor Retailer with its New Product Zone at the show), but keep in mind, that each brand likely will receive only one product placement in the New Product Gallery to ensure balanced coverage. Please create a separate entry for each new product submitted.

This is your chance to tell us what you will have new at the show. We may also use these submissions to include in any product trend coverage throughout the O.R. Daily.

Your submission should be no longer that 50 words and must be written in complete sentences. Please provide our readers with product facts, features and function, rather than gushing, colorful descriptors filled with superlatives. The form also requires a HIGH-RESOLUTION photo of each product — this usually means the photo is greater than 5 inches wide or tall at 300 dpi. Please work with your photography department to ensure that the photo is hi-res.

Help us avoid mistakes by naming your photo “CompanyName_ProductName” Eg. “TheNorthFace_CatsMeowSleepingBag.”

Also please make sure that the photo’s file name does NOT include any spaces and/or symbols.

*Note that show guidelines stipulate that you are not permitted to sell anything at Outdoor Retailer unless all the money is donated to a legitimate 501(c)3 nonprofit company.

New exhibitors have no reason to be shy at Outdoor Retailer this summer. Let SNEWS and the O.R. Daily introduce you to the crowd.

If you’re an owner or CEO of a company that will be a new, first-time exhibitor at Outdoor Retailer, we want to give you the opportunity for free coverage and exposure in O.R. Daily. Send an email to dclucas@aimmedia.com to request a submission form that must be filled out by the CEO, president or owner of the brand by Friday, June 26, 2015 to be considered for coverage. Forms filled out by marketing or public relations folks will not be considered.

News
The sooner you get your Outdoor Retailer-related press releases to our editors, the better. We’re always looking for newsworthy information about your company’s trends, marketing strategies, sponsorships, advocacy efforts, promotional campaigns and overall product line launches. BUT … any news we consider for O.R. Daily must be specifically relevant to the show — something at the show, being unveiled at the show, announced at the show, etc.

Send this information to the editors of SNEWS at snewsedit@aimmedia.com, along with the best contact information for both before and during the show. If your news is largely about a new product, please submit through the New Product Gallery form, above.

You must be an official Outdoor Retailer exhibitor and meet the above deadlines to qualify for consideration for free coverage. If you miss the deadlines, or are not an official exhibitor, you are still welcome to advertise in the O.R. Daily.

As an independent news organization, we make no guarantee for inclusion among our editorial pages. Even if everything is submitted flawlessly, limited pages keep us from getting every product or category covered. But, you can guarantee your company’s presence in all five issues of O.R. Daily Summer Market 2015 among our advertising pages.
